MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE
Our Success, So Far
BioIntegrity began in Dec. 2014.
This page last updated Feb. 16, 2024.
To date, including matching donations, our supporters have helped protect at least:
- 75 million trees
- 1 million microbial species
- 25,000 plant and animal species
- 375,000 acres of globally critical ecosystems
- 300,000 tons of annual CO2 sequestration (new tree growth)
- 2.5 million people’s annual oxygen supply
- 6.5 billion gallons annual freshwater filtration
Additionally, BioIntegrity donors have helped keep at least 90 million tons of stored CO2 (standing forest and ecosystem-stored biomass) from being released into the atmosphere. For reference, San Francisco’s community-wide carbon footprint, 2018, was just 5.6 million tons CO2e. (Source)
